Get Fruity....!

Every month when I have a quite day in the studio I try to do something a little bit creative to add to my fine art print portfolio. This month, I was at the local fruit shop and could help but marvel at the beautiful colours of the citrus fruits on display. Like many things I photography, they are so much more beautiful then what you give them credit for- if you actually look. The flesh is so intricate, and almost mesmerising that I felt the need to photograph it. Below is my lighting set up that I used to highlight the innards of the fruit, and after a lot of fiddling here is some of the stuff I came up with…
